Giving Back

From corporate to each individual hotel, volunteer participation and philanthropic endeavors are always encouraged and supported.

At IHM, we have worked with the Quantum House, Children’s Home Society of Florida , Urban Youth Impact, Food for Families, Children’s Miracle Network and several other local events.

By the Numbers 

  •  Through our Urban Youth Impact back to school event,  IHM played a vital role in providing inner-city youth and their families with school supplies 

  • 55 children sponsored through the Children’s Home Society of Florida, providing the children with a special gift at Christmas time

  • 600 pounds of food collected for families to have Thanksgiving dinner through our Food for Families Drive

  • Annual Corporate Office participation in the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure in West Palm Beach.

Courtyard by Marriott Wilmington, NC celebrated Marriott Associate Week serving their community by volunteering for Habitat for Humanity helping future homeowner Alicia recognize a dream come true.

Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield Inn by Marriott San Antonio hotels

San Antonio, TX Courtyard & Fairfield Inn put together a team to participate inMarriott’s Spirit to Serve “Tamalada”. During this event over 17,000 tamales were made and donated to the Food Bank of San Antonio

Residence Inn by Marriott hotel

The Residence Inn Ontario team volunteered at the local United Way office. The office provides school lunches to underprivileged children and school supplies for teachers with children in need. They had the honor of working with the school supply department bundling pencils and completed 5,400 bundles!

Four Points by Sheraton Philadelphia hotel

The Four Points Philadelphia, PA volunteered for CBS 8 Eyewitness News’ Alex Scott: Stand for the Cure Telethon benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) and the fight against childhood cancer.
